Kode With Klossy at Carbon HQ: Inspiring the Next Female Tech Leaders
During July, we were proud to host Kode With Klossy (KWK): a free, in-person coding camp that creates learning experiences and opportunities for young women to increase their confidence and inspire them to pursue their passions in a technology. These ‘KWK scholars’ had the opportunity to learn how to build real-life apps regardless of their level of coding ability. The custom curriculum included Kode With K instructor trainings as well as guest speaking sessions from female Carbon employees that work in STEM related fields. SyBridge Demonstrates 2X Improved Heat Transfer in Digitally Manufactured Heat Exchangers
The heat exchanger is in nearly every industrial application where hot and cold temperatures matter: refrigerators, furnaces, AC systems, transport, hospitals, and more. By taking advantage of the design freedom and high-heat resistant materials enabled by the Carbon Digital Manufacturing Platform, Carbon Production Network Partner SyBridge is revolutionizing the antiquated design of heat exchangers, demonstrating a 2x improvement in heat-transfer performance, increased energy efficiencies, lighter weight, and lower costs. New Dreve FotoDent cast Material for Carbon Printers
Carbon recently announced a new third-party resin for dental labs: the Dreve FotoDent® cast for Carbon Printers, sold by Dreve for use on Carbon printers in the United States, Europe, and Canada. With this material, dental laboratories can quickly produce burn-out molded parts for removable partial dentures and crowns in a digital workflow using the Carbon Digital Light Synthesis™ (Carbon DLS™) process. It is compatible with all commercially available investment material and is transparent red and burns without residue. Get the new material here.

Bringing STEM and 3D Printing Education to Rural Elementary School
Carbon Production Network Partner The 3D Printing Store introduced elementary school students in Crested Butte, Colorado to 3D printing through an interactive design exercise where students created their own keychain and printed it using Carbon digital manufacturing technology. Carbon is proud to partner with The 3D Printing Store and support 3D printing education and STEM learning for students of all ages. More on the story here.
