Rigid Polyurethane is our most versatile rigid material family. It is used across a wide range of industries, including consumer products, automotive, and industrial. RPU 70 has a UL 94 HB flame resistance classification.

Mechanical Properties

RPU is stiff and strong, with ultimate tensile strengths of 45 MPa. RPU withstands stresses up to 45 MPa before yielding, and elongates 100% before breaking. This combination of strength and ductility enables it to outperform ABS – and makes it an excellent replacement for Nylon.

Material qualifications
