Carbon, the world’s leading digital manufacturing company, is enabling some of the most iconic, global brands to craft what the world needs by combining innovations in software, hardware, and materials to deliver groundbreaking products that improve human well-being, transform industries, and change the world. As a company, we also rally behind one unified goal: to ensure that our customers love and can count on us.
We are excited to announce a series of leadership updates that are key to our future as we forge ahead with our mission to become the world’s #1 digital manufacturing platform.
The first is that Gale England has joined Carbon as our first-ever Chief Manufacturing and Supply Chain Officer. Gale comes to us from Torii Technologies, and before that Brocade Communications. A seasoned leader with more than 35 years of experience leading engineering, customer service, operations, and information systems teams, Gale has helped organizations reach peak levels of growth, efficiency, and productivity—ultimately leading to increased customer satisfaction and success. With Gale on board, we are centralizing all of our operational processes under his leadership as well as integrating our infrastructure and systems to find ways to operate more efficiently.
Our growth and efficiency are important, but just as essential to helping our partners and customers achieve their goals is making sure we’re keeping our employees happy and expanding our team. Our people differentiate us even more than our technology or business model.
We’re therefore also thrilled to welcome Barb Cadigan as our first-ever Chief People Officer. Barb comes to us from Talend, where she helped the cloud integration solutions company grow its workforce from 500 to 1,200 employees and prepared its people for the evolution from a private to public company in advance of their IPO. Barb is a results-driven HR pro with nearly 25 years of Human Resources experience, who’s as comfortable supporting C-suite executives as she is growing organizations at all levels.
Partnerships are essential to our business, and making sure we support our many partners is vital to ensuring mutual success. Todd Regonini has joined Carbon to lead that effort as our new Vice President of Customer Advocacy. He comes from CommScope, where he served as Vice President of Technical Services since 2017, and before that from Brocade Communications, where he was Vice President of Customer Technical Services. Todd has spent his career building and leading high-performance pre-sales engineering and post-sales service and support teams.
“Together, these three talented executives will help Carbon define our leadership in this new category of digital manufacturing,” said Carbon CEO and Co-founder Dr. Joseph DeSimone. “We’re changing the way the world thinks about digital manufacturing and about products, and our incredible new leaders will enable us to reach our goals faster than we ever thought possible.”
Bringing together so many crucial divisions under Gale’s stewardship will empower us to be a far more efficient operation, and Barb’s leadership of our people team will enable us to continue to attract and retain the best talent around the world. And with a constant eye towards our customers and their success, Todd will continue to make sure our customers love and can count on us at every step of the way. On the whole, Carbon’s leadership updates will promote our success during this critical time as we expand internationally, build and refine our technology’s capabilities, and continue to increase our presence as the world’s leading digital manufacturing platform creating products of the future.
